Job Title: Coffee House Cook Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and skilled Coffee House Cook to prepare high-quality breakfast, lunch, and café menu items in a fast-paced coffee house environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about food preparation, follows food safety standards, and works efficiently to ensure customers receive fresh and delicious meals. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items such as breakfast sandwiches, paninis, wraps, salads, pastries, soups, and other café offerings. Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards. Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas. Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to management. Receive and properly store food deliveries. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Assist with menu preparation, daily specials, and food displays. Minimize food waste and maintain proper food rotation procedures. Work closely with baristas and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient customer service. Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous cooking, food preparation, or restaurant experience preferred. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organization. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
