Job Title: Coffee House Cashier Job Summary: We are looking for a friendly and reliable Coffee House Cashier to join our team. The Coffee House Cashier is responsible for greeting customers, taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring an excellent customer experience. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently. Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Answer customer questions about menu items, beverages, and promotions. Assist customers with selecting products and making recommendations. Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and dining area. Restock pastries, snacks, beverages, and other merchandise as needed. Coordinate with baristas and kitchen staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary. Follow all company policies, food safety standards, and cash-handling procedures. Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous cashier, retail, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
